Default breakdown services

hi folks

can anybody tell me what good recovery services there are like aa etc for bikes cause i just got my insurance through and they are asking me to change my breakdown cover to europa or something cause they reckon rac is crap

any suggetions on who to change to

Did they say why they thought RAC are crap? I've always thought good things about the RAC myself.

em it says clients have experinced difficulty when contacting rac despite their efforts they cant resolve this

maybe there saying it so you take out there insurance, RAC are meant to be good...

Yep - one of those organisations that used 'approved mechanics' - i.e. its pretty much insurance based and they just call a local garage/breakdown. Nothing wrong with that mind, I imagine your insurance company get a good comission. Now I believe the RAC / AA have special bike trailers, but I'd not be too sure of a 'local' company.
I'm all RAC'd up myself, only had to use them for a car breakdown but they were top notch, I assume the same service for a bike breakdown.

Europe Assist is KTM's prefered breakdown/collection service I've seen quite a bit of them just recently

I think I pay about £75 a year RAC, but thats any car or bike I either drive or be a passenger in, including full recovery. Beauty of that is you can get a mate out of the **** by turning up at his breakdown and calling as a passenger / pillion.
