I bought my bike from them and had the first service (only one so far) done by them as well. It's a bit of a drag to get to for me (tho of course, it does mean I get a nice ride out, and can go home via Box Hill), but I'll continue to make the effort as long as I have a Suzuki - I found them to be excellent.

Ah yes, Steve Jordans. Wonder how their name became popular on this board...

Cheeky stuff here... SJ's have a generally very good rep. I've never had the pleaseure, what with them being a bit further away than Alvins, but I don't see any call to doubt the recommendation myself.

Steve Jordans do have a great rep. I also think it's good that dealers play an active part on the scene too. Luckily I have a great mechanic locally, if I didn't I would certainly consider taking my servicing to them...

Yup, Sarah Jordan posts here a bit, SV650Racer. And that's part of the point, they've got a constructive presence on this list. They don't just pop up to promote their products and services, or to watch and see if anyone says something they don't like, as some do. They're contributing members here...

My experience is that they had a really friendly parts guy! shame he isn't there any more......
For servicing - it's great news if you get Steve himself working on your bike. I also think it is a bit rich charging for the use of a loan bike, esp when the bandit is totally on its last legs and IMHO of dubious roadworthiness. just thought I'd add a bit of balance here ![]() |
