curvy carb restrictors..??
im not after derestricting the bike im just curious as to were the restrictors are
today i was doing general cleaning and maintenance on the bike putting grease on wires and cables and i had to remove the air box wich just popped off, wich i wasnt expecting and i could see right into the air box sides of the carbs and there was no visible washers or anything so just wondering where they are.? thanks dene |

You prob have the Suzuki restrictors, which are replacement sliders (the black bit inside the carbs that moves). The diffrence is further up the slider, would only be able to see it if you took them out.

the shop told me carb washers, maybe they lied..
so sliders u gotta buy new ones?? |

There are two ways to restrict, sliders or washers. But washers you should see them from the top i think, never seen a pic of them installed on an SV.
