No, it's easy.

Take carbs off, remove float bowls, unscrew jet, fit new one.

Depends I've got a fair range of jets lying about, I reckon a 144 or 146 main would do you if I remember the last posts right, I should have some of those- I can send you a few and you can just send back whatever you don't need.

The hardest part ofrejetting an SV is getting the float bowl and choke screws off. That makes it sound like it'll be easy, but that part can be a complete ****

Yep the screws are totaly rubish. When i did mine i had to drill the caps off two screws. It seemed like they had stuck to the carbs like a weld.

I got all mine out with an impact driver (the sort you hit with a hammer, not the air-powered sort) and some good mole grips. I've heard that putting valve lapping paste in the heads helps the driver to grip- or there's stuff you cna buy in Maplin to do the same thing.

I replaced all mine, IIRC it's M5x10 but that could be absolute cobblers.

Done mine yesterday, swapped for M5x12 stainless allen head from this guy
£2 + free postage for 10, can't be bad
Used a set of small needle nose mole grips to get the stubborn ones out
