Default Curvy SVS guages on a Naked, is it possible??

It there a way to adapt the wiring harness from a curvy naked bike to use an SVS gauge cluster on it?? I've seen the wiring OEM service manual wiring diagrams but they are all for the naked and have yet to find on they shows the pin connectors specific for the SVS cluster.

So anyone have an answer as to if the swap is possible or is it more work then I can shake a stick at??

Just get the correct loom part, it would be cheaper to get the loom from a SVS and just take the end bit off for the clocks.

All SV looms are the same except for the front bit which is interchangeable from the main part of the loom depending on nakid or faired config.

You would not need to do any mods as the faired loom has 2 x H4 connectors for the front light but you only need 1 so you could either cut the other one or just tie it back or if you put twin headlights.

The main problem of putting curvey clocks is that they realy need the front subframe from a S to fit properly unless you get one custom made.

Funny you should ask this question, i have just been looking at using an S model loom on a naked with naked clocks, the front sub loom for the 2 models connects using different connectors to the main loom.
these pics are of an S loom the circled are the connectors that connect to the bikes main loom

the next 2 pics are of the N model again with the circled are the connectors the plug into the main loom.

Now this is realy weird. I just went to check the parts cat and its also diffrent from what i said and what you said. Real odd.

Faired - http://alpha-sports.com/spst/2002%20SV650,S/69.htm
Nakid - http://alpha-sports.com/spst/2002%20SV650,S/70.htm

I will say that its more than possable that i am wrong.

Thinking about it i think i am getting mixed up with the diffrent end looms for S bikes between Euro & Uk spec. Woops.

I have morphed a pointy naked clock on to my curvy naked SV, there is a how to on the main site.

Just in case you think about this option.

Cheers

Si.
