Default Serious coolant contamination in oil

You'd think I'd learn from past mistakes and get stuff sorted well before I need them.

Anyway, went to change the oil on my 2002+1999 SV-S that have been sitting for a couple of months now (was intending to do a trackday earlier).

I've had race bikes in my garage before over winter and never had a problem. It's attached to the house, so doesn't get too cold.

Anyway, oil seemed to be rather seriously 'mayonaisy' when I drained. Topping up coolant sees it coming straight out the oil drain.
We're not talking dribbling out, but flowing almost as fast as I pour it in.

Not good.

I have had a search around on here, but couldn't find anything relating to this situation.

Any ideas?
Is this is a common problem?

Any easy fixes .

When they were last used in December I had checked oil/water and it was fine.

Only thing I can think is that they are more susceptible to freezing than other bikes, so maybe both bikes had frozen water which managed to crack something.

If they had coolant in, then it usually contains antifreeze... There's quite a few gaskets that could cause that contamination, but for it to be such a major flow? No idea.

No anti-freeze, as they're race bikes .
Had race bikes in this garage for a few years and never had a problem before.

I've got a nasty feeling something serious has cracked somewhere.

As you state it had no anti-freeze in it, it does sound like a cracked block. If you are really lucky it is just a head gasket, but … it’s more likely the block dude … new engine time

2 new engines .

I do have a road SV now, so I suspect that it may be losing an engine. That or gaining a load of tarty ohlins stuff .

You really need to see exactly what's gone. There's a fair few coolant flowing areas that are replacable, if the main casings are cracked then that's probably dead but if it's elsewhere- inner clutch cover mabe? Then it might not even be very expensive to fix.

PS if they're dead, but you find a crank in good nick, I might be tempted to take it off your hands I've got an engine in teh garage with a spun bottom end bearing, not really economicalyl worth fixing but it'd be something to do...
