 Actually there are far, far, far more hideous paint jobs out there... Ill go dig out the US Custom paint job site I found a while back... But have this for starters:

There was a bike in Streetfighters a couple of years back with a very similiar job... I don't hate it. I think it lacks the contrast that the style needs to make it work, some really dark bits would make the bright parts stand out instead of just being a
big blur. I find all the polishing less attractive tbh.
