Default Fantastic day out today :-) many Pics not dial up friendly

well as it was sunny and I had nothing better to do I thought I would go over some of the north south route , taking some timings and checking out the road conditions.

Started at Hartside (well who wouldn't) it was interesting as the roads were very liberally sprinkled with salt (****loads of it) :P

this made for some interesting riding in the twisties ( like riding on loose sand) I reckon i would have been like the big boys to watch "backing it in" sliding around apexes ETC.

I managed to get the tyre covered in salt right to the edges

.

More pictures to come
as i get them edited

Mark...Your poor TDM seems have developed a worrying growth at the rear end there? Maybe you should get along somewhere to get it lanced?! (Is that where you keep your Box Brownie then Mr. is it?)

indeed it is Peter ,

the box brownie I do not fancy having in a backpack alone, should i tip off the bike at all , I would like to think the box gives a little more protection than the backpack.

Tell you what it makes for interesting handling having some hefty weight in that box swinging the rear out :P
