Default The 1200 Ducati? Sex on Wheels?

MCN published this today in the paper. Havent read the paper yet but its meant to be Dukes answer to the Jap 1000's. Is this a beauty or what?

No, please don't start Peter Henry off...

It looks like we are back to a 998 style front end, much prettier

Yes it's gorgeous. But what I can't understand if why they're putting that old dog of an air-cooled 1000cc lump into the new and exciting super-moto bike for 07, why? If the S4R has got a blinding engine, why not use it in the new bike? (reaches for pen and crosses off list...)

But talking of sexy bikes the new F800R is really something:

Is it me, or does the front of that bike remind you a little of a curvy SV? (arround the headlights?).

NIce bike though!

MCN's artist has obviously been given a little free license on that. A blend of the good bits from the 916/998 series thrui to the 9's. I really can't see them going back to single swinger myself.
There is a lot of talk though of a 1100/1200 Ducati to come. If it does I think it wioll be the last Vee twin. From there it will be V4.

I of course know absolutely nothing!

Greg that "old dog" of a motor should be potent enough for the Motard. Get saving your green shield stamps now fella! :P

Oh, *looks dissapointed* a Ducati.

Sex on wheels you said - and here was me thinking back to a country lane and a GPz!

Green Shield stamps... mmmm, tasty. Dad used to get me to stick 'em in the book cos I was the only one who didn't think they tasted revolting!

JB, I'm with you - much prefer the Beemer...

... oh my God, did I just say that out loud!
