Beware...

Was out for a jaunt on the bike with my dad at the weekend in good old North Yorks. On the A684 from Sedbergh to Hawes we came across a goon in a Blue Citroen hatchback (think it was a C2 or C3?).

We reach a nice open set of corners, where you can see all the way through the bends that there's nothing coming the other way for about a mile and my dad who was leading goes to overtake the chap on a right hand bend. Mr car driver proceeds to move across, cutting this corner and edging into me dad

Hardly believeing what I saw, I then proceeded to overtake said car driver giving myself more than plenty of room going round a left bend, only to receive the same treatment!! No damage sustained to selves or bikes, just thought I'd best issue a warning.

Seems as though there's been a few narky folk over that neck of the woods this easter weekend.

Was over that way myself on a few occasions and clearly riled a motorist with caravan on the Ingleton to Hawes road. I was the first to pass him, in a completely legal and safe overtaking manoevre. He then seem to make every effort to keep the rest of the pack from getting past.

Glad you both were unscathed but there's just no need for it is there......

No need whatsoever, specially since we didn't see the a$$hole for dust once we'd passed him.

I can't honestly remember, was more concerned with staying on my bike. From the brief glance I got, I think said individual was old (think I saw grey hair).

Might be stereotyping here, but I think most drivers of C2's and C3's tend to be of the erm older generation though... (Runs for cover )
