Quiff...

Theres an advert in MCN for Oulton Tickets...

The £20 price is for race day admission ticket if you buy the ticket online. The £26 is the price you'll pay on the gate on raceday.

the website is www.oultonpark.co.uk if you want to buy your ticket online

You have to buy your tickets online before midnight on 24th April though

It is. Liz and I went to Thruxton last weekend £21 each on the gate. The racing was excellent. Should be a good day out.

Quiff,

Eee lad your taking me back a bit here! If you try to spot a place called WHISTON on a map you will see that it is more than 30 minutes away by car. When I was 14 about 6 of us intrepid adventurers set off for Oulton Park on push bikes!

We actually got there and enjoyed a cracking weekend watching the now defunct Transatlantic Trophy,(Brits Vs. Yanks) in which the likes of Bazza Sheene,Mick Grant etc. did battle with Kenny Roberts and Steve Baker.

The don't make em like they used to you know sonny. :P

Quiff its a really good track, plenty of spectator points, no "stands" you make do with the grass. The first race I saw there was in 1956/7. A vintage car meeting if the grey cells are still working.
And I'll agree with Mr Henry, the transatlantic series saw fantastic racing featuring all the names of the time.

I'll be there, thank you Mr Honda for the tickets.

Get yourself down by Knickerbrook, you can see the bikes come down the Avenue and through onto Lakeside, then you see them as they come over Hill Top down into Knickerbrook/Hizzies.

The traffic is horrendous, there aren't many routes in and out of Oulton Park!
