Default Nearly squished a FIRESTORM this morning...

I did bloody see him.
He was perched on his HONDA waiting to cross over the road I was driving on. Straight on for me, junction for him.
His body language said he was either a newbie or so stiff from his winter lay off.
10:30 in the morning I was driving through Kirkby, belly full of nutrious McD's brekky.
He looks up, looks right at me and drives out... Seeing him looking akward I'd already started to push on the brake of me cage. The 'Storm lurches out less than 20 metres from the front of the cage... and he stalls it!
Full pressure on brake, tyres chirping to a stop... He even lifted his right arm and braced for impact... I came to a full stop about a bike length from him.
I had the music up pretty loud and he must have thought I was singing along with Greenday... My mouth moving in the usual sort of way - You effing cahnt...
Out of the windows it may have sounded like - I wanna be a minority...
Starts his bike giving me evils, gets in going into the opposite lane, didn't look again and gives me the V's!!
What a knob jockey!!

I nearly squished a dog this afternoon!

In the cage, having just taken a trailer load of garden to the tip, easing gently past some parked cars, doing no more than 15-20mph, just as I reached the end of the last one a big black dog runs out straight into the front of the car!

It's a horrible sound, makes you realise what it must be like hitting a kid.

Dog yelped and ran off. Car intact. Phew, woof.

I predict that as we speak, Firestorm Rider is posting on the internet that some idiot cager tried to kill him today, and he evaded him with his Rossi-like skills before beating the driver in a fistfight and taking his women.

Now you mention it he had a helmet but also the local uniform of dark blue trackie bottoms.

Genuine LOL at that, resulting in me very nearly spraying half chewed porridge over my laptop.
