Hello all,
Just wonderin if anyone has any opinions on these. Had narrowed my choice down to the Z6s or Conti Road Attacks. The price was swingin it in the direction of the Road Attacks but my local Tyre place has thrown a spanner in the works by quoting £60 front and £80 rear for the M1s. Checking on t'internet this seems like a good price (will be an extra £20 to fit em). Most of my riding is commuting to work but none the less I'd like plenty of grip for days out with a decent life.....not much to ask I know !! If theyr'e poop think I'll plump for the Contis as theyr'e about £45 cheaper and I'm broke at mo. I'm guessing most folks will advise the Contis. Thanks ![]() |

I had Z6's on my SV & they were awesome, so much nicer than the stock D220's

The M1 are very nice but dont expect them to last, a front only ran for about 5000miles on my bike.

Oh ok thanks.....think I'll give em a miss then. Need a bit more longevity than that...if the fronts lasting 5000 miles then the rears gonna be less I imagine.
Contis is it the.........or maybe the Bridgestone BT014s !! ![]() ![]() Cheers guys |

You can burn a Sportec rear in 2500 miles without trying too hard... They're good tyres, but for road use they're not massively better than Roadtecs at best, and worse at worst.

Cheers Northy....would like to have gone for the Z6s but funds are tight at mo.....insurance renewal, car tax, holibobs blah blah blah so think I'll be going for the Conti RAs this time around.
Thanks all. |
