Default Alarm mounting on the SV?

I've got a cheetah alarm (cheep and cheerful ), at present i get it under my pillion seat but it takes up much needed space (i could put i small first aid kit where it is at the mo)

Where else could i put it? not to fussed about wire length as i have loads to spare

How big is it? My Meta is cabletied to the left hand of the rear subframe, opposite the reg/rec. It's a bit bigger than a 20 pack of fags. Alternatively, if it's big and thin, you could bin the fusebox holder and make some space there, that's where the Cable Octopus lived on mine till I killed it, and it was pretty big.

Or there's probably space above the rear cylinder... Not so sure about that.

I have my datatool the same as northy, i also have the CDI unit under that panel as well because i cut the undertray and lost some space at the back to place the unit.

As the alarm is bolted into the rear subframe its realy realy sensitive to movement.

I had my Acumen in the same place, though the vibration/dirt from the bike has killed over time. Once you could fart near it and it would go off, now you can role the bike down the road. But the immobiliser still works, when the bike gets fixed I'll be swappin it out.
