Default Volt Meter Fitting

Hi,

I've just got one of these voltmeters.

http://www.casporttouring.com/store/...de=Electronics

I intend to fit it across the bar risers on my 99 naked.

Could anyone suggest the easiest/most convinient place to find a constant 12v supply & an ignition switched 12v supply?

I seem to recall reading that there were some "spare" wires inside the headlight on the naked that provided the switched 12v..... is this correct? and what about the perm connection?

Thanks

Paul.

IIRC any red is constant live, any black is earth and orange with a green tracer is switched live, i think

Break into the loom side of the ignition connector block wiring, red is permanent live, orange is switched live.
