Default A day of firsts.

Sorry if this goes on a bit but hey I'm new.

First, hello to carelesschucca and beaniebike, nice to meet you both in the flesh, and a big thanks to careless for showing me how to get home. lol

First time on the bike to Glasgow (following auto-route directions)
First time I've had the tank bag on
First time in rush hour traffic
First time filtering (after watching another couple of bikes)
First night at the IAM (Glasgow North)
First observed ride.
First time in Largs
First time at Nardinis
First ice cream drink (since I was about 12)
First time my bums been off the seat (going over humps)
First time my nose has been up (bigger hump faster, fairly got the heart pumping)
First time hooning round corners
First time bottled it on a corner and stood it up( not nice)
First time overtaking without feeling really nervous
First time over the ton (well I would have but the speed limit was sixty, honest)
First time riding in the dark
First time in a tunnel
First time the odometer broke the 1000 miles
First time riding for so long that my hands were sore (wrists still sore this morning)
First time I've overtaken another bike (Harley on the M80)
First time I've seen a crash (this morning on way to work, 2 cages)
First time I've seen the crash coming as saw the woman not looking or slowing, she took out the car in front of me, it just seemed inevitable.
First time I've been glad i got caught at those bloody lights again.

Thanks again to the IAM and particularly carelesschuca, I'd recommend it to anyone.
Beanie or careless do either of you know who had the copper sv1000 last night, are they on here?

How many firsts do you want??? No I don't think the guy with the thou is on here I know his face but not his name... As I said last night I'm crap with names I'm more likely to remember your bike...

I'm so glad you enjoyed it last night, and your riding was great for having only done just over 1000 miles, just stay carefull and don't get too carried away, and remember ride to IAM standards everytime you go out

All i seen yesterday was the old restaurant all boarded up!

You mean they still have a place in Largs? Excuse my ignorance

Was down that way yesterday for a wee blast.

Headed back via Kilbirnie and Lochwinoch, much better now with the new road
