Friend of mine is selling his private registration

Wants £750 for it, anyone interested or know someone that might be ?

Please ignore me but what is the significance of that plate? Why would it be so expensive? I have never been in to this plate lark so am merely curious?

Well I dunno. I don't ride an 5V, just an SV.

Anyone got a plate that ends in SVR? I'll givces ya 20 quid for it. :P

No me neither, although I did once buy one for a song at sell it again for a healthy profit.

This plate was originally valued at over a grand by Reg Transfers but I must admit this does seem very expensive.

As Davido pointed out, (if rather sarcastically ) 5V could be SV

Doesn't a motorbike racer have PEN 15???

Think its on a smart car, best place for it IMO.

I had OUT 10R on a bike once, ( back in the 70's!), didnt look anything on a bike, but I guess on a car it might look a bit like 'outlor'. I never even gave it a thought when I sold the bike.
Some of these plates are just so vague, you can see they have tried to make it say something with their mashed up spacing and extra bolts, but usually it just mystifies me.
Surely its cheaper to change your name by deed poll to match your number plate?
I could by Mr GX06 XXX, sounds kinda cool actually.

Yeah, he had it years ago, it was banned and taken off him ages ago.

I have a private plate, but transfered it off my bike at the beginning of last year and it cant be transfered back
