Well I've got my new lid...
![]() ![]() Looks nice and the integrated dark visor is handy, though I have noticed that it does fog up a bit. Seems to get allot of air flowing though it even when all the vents are shut though that might be because of the anti-fog system for the main 'clear' visor. I have noticed a bit on noise even with my plugs in, but I will see what it like with out them on a short journey. The other thing I have noticed compared to my old helemt is that the chin seems really close... |

Not the world's greatest helmet, but the inner visor system, excellent styling, and the price, make it very good value for money. I certainly like my V2.

For me it's fine, I think it really depends on the shape of your skull, hence always try a helmet on before you buy. Yours is a little more neanderthal, which might be the problem
![]() I know that Mr Toad found that the inner visor touched his nose, which again, hasn't been a problem for me. It's certainly noisy though, with a huge windrush coming up underneath the front/chin area, and which is why I always tuck a Buff in around the front. The vents do absolutely nothing, doesn't matter which way you switch them. . |

So from this I have found that I have a huge neanderthal like skull and my nose is like Mr Toads as it sometimes touches the inner visor (depends on how I sit it really).
Cheers. |

My wife and I have these, they are good but the oringinal internal visor isnt dark enough, thinking of getting the dark black. I think they are about £25.

I'm not sure it's any darker, I think it's just a replacement (but happy to be proved wrong). For me, the tint is just right, strangely allowing it to be used at night in a brightly lit urban environment, which if peeps wonder why I should wish to (and why I almost permanently use the inner visor) is simply that I have very sensitive eyes.
Along country lanes, however, it's best not to ![]() . |

I tried it without the earplugs in... Oh my god! I didn't think it could be as noisy as my old J1, but I was wrong.

I have the same helmet and also find it very noisy. I got a wind deflector with the helmet which makes a small difference to the airflow under your chin but a buff seems to do the trick a lot better.
