Default Rideout, Bank Holiday Sunday 27th

We're doing a rideout with some friends of ours, and any local org members who fancy coming along would be very welcome.

Meeting at Auntie Ruth's Diner on the A5 at Hinckley from 9.00 to leave at 10.30 sharp. On to Graffham Water for lunch, planning to arrive around 12.30. Leaving there around 2.00 and off to Rutland Water for afternoon tea via the B660, which has become infamous with some of our mates who call it The Road Of Bones

Then back via the B664 Uppingham to Market Harborough road, which is interesting and to the A5 again at Lutterworth.

If any members can't make the full run, but fancy meeting us either at Graffham or Rutland, that would be cool.

Auntie Ruth's is here http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...e=25000&icon=x

Might well be up for this, weather permitting. I still have family in the midlands so I guess an early start for me

Cheers Keith

We're planning to arrive at Rutland for around 4, but as I'm sure you appreciate, it's difficult to tie it down to a set time. If there are only a few of us it will obviously be a quicker journey, but last time we organised this for our club we had 43 bikes

Ok peeps, just a quick heads up for tomorrow. Round trip from Auntie Ruths back to the A5 at Lutterworth, roughly 190 miles.

Auntie Ruths to Graffham roughly 90 miles, Graffham to Rutland roughly 65 miles, then a quick hop from there of around 35 miles to Lutterworth, where people have a choice of A5, M1 or M6 for the journey home.

At the moment we have around 25 bikes supposedly coming, but could be more if the weather is good in the morning. This was our lot the last time we did this run

No worries, Hun.

Sure we'll get the chance to meet up and say Hi sooner or later

Had a great day, met up with Ruff Ryder (Matt) at Rutland. I gather another .org member had been there as well but had left. Sorry, we should have made it clear that we would be in the Normanton car park
