Default green gunk

When the garage changed my front brake discs they left a smattering of green gunk around the hub/centre of the brake disc. I presume this is some kind of grease? Just curious what it is?

very probably Loctite (or equivalent threadlocking stuff).

It doesn't set in open air, only when trapped between metal components, so what you're seeing is probably slightly dried off threadlock.
