Default starting problem

new to the bike scene so excuse me if its a simple thing to correct. started my bike three times yesterday and no problems but the forth time it didn't want to know. my girlfriend had to get a bump start to get it home. checked the clutch, to the best of my abilities, and my friend has checked the starter motor and thats good. thinking it may be the right starter switch gear cos the electrics are fine. any ideas?

sv650s k2, fully faired in yellow, lowered and seat skimmed aswell.

Was it turning over slowly or nothing there at all? Try charging your battery and see if it does it again!!!

Oh and welcome to the forum

There’s a safety switch on the clutch leaver (you are pulling it in when u try to start right?? ). Its pretty common for these to cause problems. And causes the symptoms just like the kill switch. If you disconnect the wires that come out of the clutch leaver and short them out (bit of wire, paperclip) this fools the bike into thinking the cutch leaver is in, then try again.

Oh and is the bike in neutral?
