I have some Frank Thomas Strike 2 textile trousers. Have been happy with them so far. Been out in the rain and came home dry.
I was recomended to wear sod all under them but found it a bit too sweaty. I took the thermal liner out and wear tracky bottoms instead. Although..............................I was out looking for Ron Hill tracksters to wear under them and found that JJB have padded goalie pants for £15. I haven't tried them yet but they are padded at the knees and hips. Not much protection but I would imagine the knee padding will help with stiff knees after a spell in the cold. |

Hi.
I have a pair of Spada Trackslide trousers. They are warm with a removable liner for summer. These have knee armour and knee sliders and leather over the outer and inner area of the upper leg and around the knee area. They cost £75 when new 2 1/2 years ago. They are not waterproof although the Spada catalogue now says they are, so they could have upgraded them. I commute everyday and they have lasted really well. I had an off at about 10 mph and didn't feel a thing. The knee slider and leather stopped me getting hurt. They still have loads of life in them but I now want something waterproof as I am fed up wearing waterproofs over the top. Kind regards Tim |

Newbie, would you be interested in my FT's.
Only reason I ask is I want some plain black ones and mine have a red and white flash on them. A1 condition and size medium. |

Which ones did you get andy? I bought a revit textile jacket from Teesside Leathers when i started riding a few years back but rarely use it however ill be using it in colder weathers. I just need waterproof bottoms to go with it.
With the Pathans and a polar buff i should be pretty snug. |
