Based on that report (and it is The Sun after all) the CPS should appeal the acquittal. (I think that's allowed). It is blatantly the magistrate looking after a copper. Would like some more facts though.

well, i say good luck to the guy.
he used his position to get away with 3 points, and he has. i would do the same if i could  most of us break the speed limit, im about to go to tescos now, and i shall be breaking the speed limit. but i know the law, if i get caught, fair play . . . but if i had a get out of jail free card, i would use it. |
