If you are going to race it then you can buy wets trackside at a meet.

Which club were you intending to race with?
Both these attend BEMSEE and MRO meets:-

A&R support NG too (mibbie others, dunno??).

If you have never used wets, then any make will be awesome, but my personal preference is the Dunlops (have them as my WoW), but it is a personal preference thing ...

No worries.

In the past they have known to be short stocked on wets, if you have nothing at all, it might be best to pre-order them, they will then take to and fit them at your first round and you wont be left high and dry (pun intended ).

Another option is 2nd hand (off ebay or summin). But beware, a wet is not sh@gged when the tread is gone, it is when the tread edges/corners become rounded. Its a bit like blunt iceskates wont 'cut' into ice very well if edges aren't sharp.

So only buy a set that looks to still have retained some of the edge/sharp corners. i.e. if in doubt don't buy or ask for a closeup (both sides).

Default Bridgestone

The most suitable for a minitwin. I've tested all the wets back to back on an SV and on these bikes Bridgestones are the best. They're the softest so give the best feedback.

It's unreal how deep you can break on these wets
