Right! I've got meself a Dell computer, and it's great! No probs yet, but it has an inbuilt SB that I would like to change. On my list of stuff that it must have is a digital optical output and that's it.
Gaming is so much better when you can hear the baddies walking up behind you! Not too much to ask is it? So which card would suit? Cheers all Paul |

Providing it's a laptop, then I'd go with the standard X-Fi. Fab card, and not too expensive.

I was looking at the SB audigy's but have been left a little confused as creative's web site isn't that clear on the outputs for each card |

Ah, yes, a major ****-up on my part there, what I meant to say, was "Providing it's not a laptop"
![]() The Audigy's old and creaky. The X-Fi's fab and sexy. The specs should be here: http://www.soundblaster.com/products...ct=15855&nav=1 Their forum might also be of use: http://forums.creative.com/creativel...d=soundblaster . |
