Ebay is the only place to guarantee you a sale in that time frame or Dealer. but you'll get hammered just as everyone else is spending on Christmas.

Are you sure you're not going over the top just to provide Christmas presents?

Not a chance this side of Christmas for a naked. Try £2000 and you'll be lucky to get that. IMO

Not heard of credit cards?

Yep but im not resorting to that.

Will just have to sell for what i can. £2000 is gonna be painful to accept. The bike has been like a good friend to me and ill be so gitted when its gone that it will ruin xmas for me, but as long as my familly are happy with their presants thats all that matter i suppose!

I like your style, up to you to decide what's important after all... Though to be honest even at that price you may need a fair bit of luck to get it sold before Christmas.

Good luck anyway- personally I'd recommend a loan or credit card to allow you to take your time selling the bike at a more reasonable price, this is the worst possible time of year to sell. Come spring, there's a whole new crop of bike sales, you could make a lot more if you can hold off for 4 months. Just thinking from a purely pragmatic point of view here...
