Assuming outlook.exe is in the PATH variable:

Open a new file in notepad or your favourite text editor, and put the following line in it ONLY

outlook.exe \cleanreminders

Save it as a .bat file anywhere you like, and heypresto.

Alternatively, don't use a batch file. You could create a new short cut on the start menu (or desktop etc) that points to outlook.exe & has the parameter on it you need. If you want a better explaination of this, let me know.

try

START "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /cleanreminders

and save it in a .bat file. Make sure the location of the outlook app is correct.

Hope it helps!

EDIT -> Or do what Baph says.....same effect but cleaner

Why a batch file? Surely it only needs the shortcut to include the switch?

Assuming you're using Office 2003...

Right click the desktop
Choose New --> Shortcut
Type "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\office11\outlook.exe" /cleanreminders
Click Next
Name the shortcut
Click Finish

Sorted
