Bug in my VB6 application - SV650.org

If you're not into programming stop reading now!

For at least the last year & half I've had this bug in my web site that's built upon VB6. One of those bugs that you end up thinking it must be browser specific.

or that they had timed out their session etc.

I put loads of error tracking code in over the last few weeks - the system is being less heavily used since EDF shut their camaign for 2006 but EA & a few small Scottish campaigns are still using it.

Tracked the problem down & have fixed it (as of 5 minutes ago). Enclosed is a pic of the bug.

btw: moClient is an object not a value....

Noticed it?

I am *such* a muppet. Bet that wouldn't have compiled in c#. Values/References/stacks/heaps/blah-blah-blah.

Actually quite relieved to have found it despite my stupidity!

Despite what it might of appeared in TSM's thread, it's been far too long since I did anything in VB.

Oh, wait, no, it hasn't been long enough

Such a sloppy language that allows simple but stupid mistakes!
