Default Ahhhhhhh, blessed relief!

Hi all, just thought I would drop in and say Happy New Year and all. Hope you all had a good time.

Anyway, yesterday was the first day in three full months that it hasn't rained/snowed over here in Glasgow. Now normally the rain doesn't bother me but rain and cold is just no fun at all. So for three months I've been praying harder and harder every day for the weather to break so that I can go out for a spin. Three whole months, I've counted the days in and counted them out again and three months is a long time to go cold turkey. Yesterday WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO. It was still chilly but wow, what a rushhhhhhhh.

I love my bike i do, in ways that's almost illegal.

Yes I'm back on my prayer mat wishing for another go.

I'm very jealous! Yesterday morning, weather was clear, but icy. Ahh...this afternoon it'll thaw and I'll get out on the bike. 2pm just as I started the bike and unlocked it from the floor anchour - it ****ed it down!! And then ****ed it down for the rest of the day. I hate the weather in North Lanarkshire!!

I take it you didn't get out for a run then Ralph.

Well the weather has turned drier but it needs to warm up a bit more or i wont be out in the evening. It's too close to freezing for my liking. But if the rain stays away I might get out on Saturday.

So at least the rains aff and am pure dead jealous of those who are out just now!

I didn't get out, but I'm happy again as I rode to work today, albeit on my cousins Bandit which I garage over winter. It hasn't moved since beginning of December, whereas the SV got a short run at new year. The roads aren't dry yet so I didn't want to get muck and salt all over the SV which is shining like a pin in the garage after a lot of work.

Get them oot!!!
Been using the bike to get to work for the last 2 weeks.. It's been rather cold some mornings, found some ice too All part of the fun

Last thursday got up and noticed it was snowing lightly.. thought about the bike but decided to use the car, and was glad i did! Had to come home early due to the School getting closed.. and this is what i found when i got back.

Would have been fun trying to get up the hill's in that on the bike

Typical up here.. 5 mins after you get home the dam plough decides to show up and spoil my photo
Took me 40 mins to get from the centre of Falkirk to my house.. bout 2 miles Think the bike would have been parked in a tree if I'd been on it
