Default knocking when braking

I think it means the head bearings are gone but can anyone confirm that to me?

They might just need tightening up! Lift the front of the bike off the floor and twist the bars from lock to lock, if everything is smooth then grab the forks and see if there is any free play pulling front to back.

Noticed this morning that sometimes when I'm braking it doesn't knock at all, normally when I'm really heavily braking. But if I just roll off the throttle I see no knocking at all, so I've come to the conclusion that its my brakes. As if I've just braked and stoped the bike it's really hard to move about.

So I refure back to my earlier post -

Can any one help me with Servicing my brakes and fitting braided lines
