Default Now breaking - curvy bits off my crashed 99 sv650s

I have decided that i am going to break my crashed bike so as i can get the cash together for a tlr as the insurance pay out isnt quite enough.

To start with I have to bits i have managed to get off the bike so far for sale. The prices DO NOT include postage but i wont charge you for time, only for what royal mail charges me. You are more than welcome to come and collect any parts and i will chuck in a cup of tea at no extra cost. Bike is located in chesham bois, bucks in my parents garage.

This is just the first round of bits, more will be availible once i get around to taking the rest of the bike apart. Please Click the pics for higher res versions I had to scale them down so as it didnt take too long to load. I can email you really high res ones if you want.

full details of the bike are avaliable here - please dont post in that thread. It has done 17854 miles as you can see here.

Carbon Remus Grand Prix end can with high level link pipe. This is a race can but does not have race use only on it. It does not have a removeable baffle and whilst sounding very nice is not silly loud. The bike passed its last MOT with this fitted no problems. Also comes with can hanger which attaches to the bits designed for bungy nets to attach to and it does not need the pillion foot pegs removed to use and will not fowl stock indicators like some high level end cans. - £70 including link pipe and a very battered original box.

I will have the down pipes that have already been cut to fit this end can for sale if i can manage to get the bloody nuts undone if you dont want to cut your own stock one.

SOLD

Stock end can that was cut off to fit the remus - £10

Petrol tank - offers as i no idea whats its worth - Got a tank protector on it which is getting pretty tatty. Has a couple of very small marks in it as you would expect with a tank thats been used but no dents. At the moment its got about half a tank of premium petrol (tesco 99 octane i think) in it and i havnt worked out how to drain it so pick up would be best as i dont really want to post a tank of fuel. Comes with all screws and brackets.

Damaged set of lowers. The front mounting points have cracked but the others are fine. This could be easily rectified with a bit of glue and some tape or similar. Ive tried to photograph the damage but it didnt really work - £open to offers as it is damaged so i dont know what youd be willing to pay.

SOLD

Air box with what i think is a stock air filter - £20

Brand new BMC race air filter - £12 SOLD

Anodised Blue clutch and brake levers - £6 each or the pair for £10 - SOLD

Dark smoked screen, not a double bubble. Included are blue anodised bolts for the screen - £20 - SOLD

grab rail with bolts - £20

Main seat - £40

Pillion seat - £30 - SOLD

Brand new unused R6 throttle tube - £5 - SOLD

Mirrors - £15 each or £25 for the pair - SOLD

Parking light - £5 - SOLD

Pillion foot pegs - £15 each or £25 for pair

Rear Cowling unit - £55 complete but may split - has some marks where the grab rail rubbed and where the main seat rubbed. Otherwise in good condition.

forgot to add I have a seat cowl in a slightly darker blue (the one from 2002 i think) its got some minor surface scratches the same you would expect with anything thats actually been used - £40 - SOLD

cheers guys. If you want anymore info then please either pm me or email me at fat_brstd@yahoo.com

The bike is located in Chesham bois in Buckinghamshire which is about 15mins from High Wycombe, 25 from Aylesbury, 25 from Hemel Hempstead and 30 from Watford. Its in my parents garage so is covered and I live in High Wycombe so I could bring some of it to my house if thats easier for you to get to but i dont have much storage space so I'd prefer it if I people would collect from their house.

visit http://maps.google.co.uk and type in chesham bois to see where it is.

or click the tinyurl bellow.

Phantomtek - Pics of it on the bike can be found by clicking the links bellow I know they arnt great but they do give an idea of what it looks like. Personally i think it looks the muts nuts, its a lot closer in to the body work than the stock one. As for fitting to your currently cut exhaust it would depend on where it is cut. It should fit straight onto your sk1 no problems. As for post, pm me your address and I will work it out.

Ter - If you pm me your address i will go to the post office and find out how much it will cost but i should think 2 quid would cover it unless you wanted it recorded delivery but its up to you so tell me how you want it sent.

I can take paypal but i would prefer either a cheque or cash as i dont want to loose any money paying them fees for handling my money. However if you feel safer using it i fully understand and will accept it without charging you extra to cover there fees.

cheers guys.

If it's a BMC Race, not Race RS, filter then I'm interested!

I'm on holiday until 7th March, could you hold out until then? Or I could send you the money through Paypal, whichever suits!

Cheers,

Paul

svstreetfighter - All I know is that its a bmc race air filter. The box has the number 205/10 on the side of it and says race as you can see in the pic. I bought it of ebay about 3 months ago for £18 and never got round to fitting it.

From what i could see on the bmc site they only make 2 types of filter for the curvy sv a 205/10 and a 205/10 race. The one i have for sale is the race.

This is a filter to replace the stock one in the air box, not one of the direct induction kits if thats what a race rs is.

I hope this helps. Paypal would be fine as i need money sooner rather than later as i am transportless (i really should get a car licence but they are so dull) and i could either post it to your house whilst your away or wait for you to get back if you wanted it sent recorded. Standard post shouldnt cost more than a couple of quid.
