Suzuki SV650s 2002 (K2) Tail Tidy
Hi there,
I bought my SV650s about 6 months ago and I'm getting the urge to make some modifications. The first thing I want to do is a get a tail tidy, but for the life of me I can't seem to find one. I've only managed to find places that sell Tail Tidies for K3's or younger. Does anyone know where I can get a K2 Tail Tidy? Thanks in advance. AJ |

You can't get a tail tidy as such for the 99 - 02 SV. You can take a haxsaw to your rear plastics and tidy it up that way. I think somebody Cuffy I think made their own one using a template that they downloaded from another site, So have a search and see if you can find that. Alternatively and I think this is best is to get a Suzuki OEM one if you can find one. The Suzuki OEM one is made by a company called TCP Aerodynamics, a quick google found their website
http://www.tcpsa.com/ This is the actual page you want. http://www.tcpsa.com/suzuki/sv650sc.htm Whether they still make the undertray or not is a different matter. Occasionally they come up on ebay, I bought mine from somebody on here that was selling it because they bought the wrong shade of yellow for their bike. You might have to buy direct, there is some contact information on the website. Once fitted it'll look like this HTH

thanks for that.
I have just emailed TCP asking them if they still stock them. As for the template - I don't really have the tools to be cutting up pieces of metal.... nor the skill in fact Fingers crossed TCP will get back to me, or I can find one on Ebay. Many thanks. |

The one I've bought has a fake carbon one on it. When I pick it up TOMORROW I'll see if it has a makers name on it anywhere.
