Question Clutch Plates

Are curvy friction plates the same part as those of the pointy?
I had assumed they are but thought I better check before I buy a set.
Cheers.

Red face Anyone want to buy a set of K3- Clutch Plates?

Whoops, if that's the case does anyone want to buy a set of goodridge (oem equivalent) friction plates?

Before my gasket arrives and I find out first hand, does anyone know for sure? According to alpha-sports' parts list they are the same part# 21441-29F10.
Cheers.

I must admit I thought they were the same, and indeed have given curvy plates to someone to fit a pointy (and didn't hear about them not fitting).

So I'd be interested to know the difference ????

Cheers Mark.

Curvy plates are indeed different to those of the pointy. There's a notch cut into one of the tabs on a curvy and the plates themselves are slightly different sizes.
Not sure exactly how much difference they would make installed or if they even could be used as I've not opened her up yet.
