Default How do you stop dogs peeing on your bike?

Evening all,

Since I've lived in Camden I've had to park my bike on the street under a cover (which gets stored indoors when I'm out). Every morning when I go to unlock the bike I find that some kind SOB has let fido pee all over my bike cover. Suffice to say this really gets my goat and tonight really took the biscuit. I was outside having a smoke and saw this rude buy walking his dog. They walked passed my front door and lo and behold fido stopped and took a pee up against my bike. I said to the bloke "thanks mate, you just let your dog take a pee against my bike, what's with that?"....at which point he just shrugged and walked on. Being the non-confrontational type (most of the time) I let it be, but it has really pi$$ed me off this time.....couldn't believe the arrogance of the guy and the "don't care" attitude.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution (apart from electrifying the cover, which I have thought of )?

Cheers,

Paul

cant blame the dog in this case. Just the ass**** who owns him.

I'm sure he wouldnt let it pee all over his dealers trainers like that would he. No he;d yank it away. Fukwits like that really annoy me but you know what, around your way fukwits like that sometimes wander the streets tooled up for no reason so youre better off being the chilled out dude you are.
I thought this thread was gonna be about random dogs out on the loose tbh. lol

Like cats that used to pee on my bike. Not much you can do about that one let me tell ya!

Chain the bike to a lamp post.We all know dogs prefer to pee on them.

If he's a typical dog owning rude boy you KNOW he's going to have a pimped out corsa with a body kit that cost a years doll money.

Next time he goes walkies stop by his car and take a **** up his paintwork and see how he likes it.

Or the good old wire bikes to main trick, that will scare the dog of p*ssing anywhere near a bike ever again.

next time he walks by with his dog, why don't you pee up against his leg?

Repellant pellets, spray etc.

The pellets dissolve in water, and you can get a motion activated "turret" that will spin around & squirt the spray towards the dog.

There's small mat's you can get that take batteries. The dog stands on the mat & grounds the circuit, so gets a small electric shock.

Just a couple of options, I can get links if you like...
