just ran out of petrol on the motorway i thought i will wait for the petrol light b4 filling up, thinking wow this is doing well............NO its not,my petrol light must have stopped working.
phoned a freind 15 mins later i was back on the road larfing @ meself

Well at least you now know exactly how far you can go on a tank of juice.

You must ride everywhere at legal speeds to have got that much out of a tankful.

no,no,no this morning was a slow one following bloke on a BMW (say no more)

Clearly not following the Doc then, you'd have been very lucky to get 120 miles if you were. Not all beemers are slow (unless I'm slow, which I guess I am be going by my easy going nature and well balanced and never rising to the bait riding style).

A BMW does not always equal slow my friend - wanna try following me on my BMW & still get 170 miles out of your tank ?

I never just rely on the "light". Always re-set trip 1 whenever I fill up and usually top up before 120 miles.

Might be worth checking your fuel filter for c**p drawn through.

no, i know, its just this one did, & i am surprised i got that much out of it aswell but i was not looking at it at the time i was waiting for the light, which was working last time i normally get about 140ish

& i did keep up with the good doctor around breacon although i did struggle & i dont think he took it out of 4th

i followed a BMW 318 in the cage the other day it was about 20 year old and the 200 year old male driver was traveling at about 26mph! the roads were quite busy and i couldnt get round him! road rage what kicking in!
