Default Service recomendations

Anyone got a recomendation for a garage around the Brentwood(ish) area for a service for the SV? There's a Suzuki place in Romford but doesn't look like they do bikes.

On a seperate note, anyone any experience with GSX1400's? Thinking of getting one.

I used to use either John Pease in Chelmsford or GP Motorcycles in Brentwood but both are now closed...

Used Essex honda on baddow road in chelmsford last week and they did a good job but are booked 2-3 weeks ahead at the moment, not used any other local dealers

Some people say don't use Johns of Romford but I had mine done there and it was fine. Also, Alpha Motorcycles in Leigh on Sea is where I bought my SV and had a couple of services there which were no problem.

Thanks Ian, Yeah was a shame about the Brentwood shop going, ah well. I'll try out the Honda garage, prob give my chain a once over now though, It's been sitting under a cover for a couple of months while I've been away.

Haven't been down to Leigh on Sea in an age, might book it in for the weekend then if there a long wait at Honda. Thanks

sudden impact in chadwell heath seems ok,

kensingtons were ace, but they have moved to chelmsford.

highsides in collier row aint bad,

stay away from johns of romford. me and lots of others have had problems.

or there is a dealer in grays who are good.

where abouts are kensingtons?

I need to do my 7000 mile service... ideally wanted it done this weekend, but Alpha are busy until next

The Honda dealer on Baddow road - do they service Suzukis ok? I bought my SV from Alhpa too, and ideally wanted the "stamp" from the authorised Suzuki dealer. Obviously I'm happy to try elsewhere if they're good.

It was actually Kenningtons and they were the small Honda dealer / MOT place in Victoria Road, Romford but they moved out to the Honda dealer in Baddow Road...

Got my SV MOT done when they were in Victoria Road and it was fine. Don't even know if they still do services or MOT's where they are now....
