dropped me bike

ok
rode all way to my brothers in leeds.

ready for the pennine rideout tomoz.

then.. 2 mins from steves and the bike fell off the sidestand.!

R and G;s did the trick

BUT broken gear lever! so I mite not be able to go tomoz!!??

steve has no bolts and drills or nuts.. ! damit

any other quick fixes> I gues not

wot a bummer..

so i am sat on his computer- 95 miles from my house and 40 mins from the start of the rideout tomoz and a bike outside with a bust gear lever !

this might be a shot inthe dark But a small set of vice grips attached to the bit thats still on the bike...Its wortha atry,,, as the sv can pull in any gear,,, ye wouldnt want to be up an down the gears too much....Jost a though.... also it wid get ye home in one piece....John

have to put it on second and ride like that.. ! AND I jsust put the 14T front sprocket on.. so its a bit racy in second.. ...


it has jsut left a straight arm.. I cant really ride it .. hoping I can find a place in the morning that might just drill the hole out and bolt it for me- a garage or similar..

he's a solicitor and ahs one hammer anda few nails- he pays people to do his work so has no vice grips or not evena shed with tools in

eee wot a day ..

got to go bed now and cry ! but stayin happy.. wa a bit dark when bike fell hope the daylight does not reveal more than I think in terms of damage
