Another Insurance comedy moment...

Following on from the recent comedy phone call to Bennetts [iirc], I have to say Carole Nash have gone one better.

Got home to find an additional premium charge for an "undisclosed accident". Phoned up confused... conversation proceeded something like this:

ME: "It says undisclosed accident, but I declared both non fault accidents".
CN: "Yes you did, but you didnt declare the one in March"
ME: "erm.. could you explain how I was supposed to do that? If I were that psychic do you not think Id have won the lottery several times over?"
CN: "Im sorry...?"
ME: "Well, what was the renewal date?"
CN: "31st August 2006"
ME: "Whats the date of the March accident?"
CN: "11th March 2007.... er... oh... erm.. I need to talk to my manager"
ME: "Yes I think you probably do"

result is I have had it withdrawn

gotta laugh.... well... I am anyway... not much is going to dampen my spirits atm

I was in an accident in my car a few years back.... After dragging the claim on and on and on the insurance called me and the conversation went...

INS "there was a problem regarding the theft of the car".
ME "It wasnt stollen...."
INS "Well why are you claiming total loss?"
ME "Cus YOU wrote it off...."
INS "Oh"

The conversation then got complicated when i tried to explain that there is no such thing as an MOT on the Island.....
