Question Bmw K1200s

I've got a question to you all...
Has anyone ever riden a BMW K1200S Before ?

The reason I ask is that after looking at/sitting on a WIDE variety of bikes at several biking events, I've decided that it's my perfect bike that when I've got enough money saved up spare, I'll buy!
It fits perfectly to me, it looks awesome in black, and there's that 'something' about it that appeals to me.

(See images here: http://www.bmwk1200s.com/Images/jerome3.jpg or http://www.bmwk1200s.com/Images/K12S74l.jpg )

I'm only 21 at the moment so haven't tried asking for a test ride (I think they would just laugh at me), however a mate has suggested that it won't handle anywhere near as good as the SV, and will be very big/heavy with rubbish suspension.

Does anyone know first hand how well the bike handles when really given some stick? Or overall review on the bike?
Thanks!

- Steve

AFAIK the K1200S had electronically controlled (active) suspension, and according to a review I read sometime ago the weight "disappeared" as soon as the bike started moving... so there

By god, it's a zero-gravity bike!!

Seriously though, I sat on one at the MCN show. Hmmm. Tasty. I think it was in orange though Maybe yellow...

Wouldn't touch a yellow bike with Hovis'........ hand! (filthy lot you are!)

I dont know these well but is there and older one and a newer one? In any case the older one was exceptionally well regarded I think.

From what I gather, the 'S' version has only been out a few years or so, there was an old K1200? something that was similar though.
