Default yay passed test...need some advice though...

passed me test at the back end of april 1st time may i add hehe.

ive put off gettin the sv on the road since i have 2 yrs no claims comin up from the 18th.

couple of questions:

while the back wheels off to get the tyre replaced for the MOT, ive put the longer dog bones on cos im a bit a short a**e. how much of a difference will this make in seat height? ive had a search but i dnt think theres anywhere that has n e thing that gives a decent answer to what kind of difference they make

which rear tyre would any1 recommend because bridgestone have just come out with the updated bt 021s wondering if n e ones got any experience with them?

restrictor chip also fitted, now all i have to do is get it insured MOTd and then its on the road!

cant wait till after my exams are over!

Not to sure on the dog bones I fitted the shorter ones and they raised the rear by 1in so the longer ones should have the opposite affect! As for tyres I'm running Dunlop Quallifiers and there awsome

if you were suffering beforehand then its going to be beneficial. As for tyres check out the tyre section of the forum. Z6 have long been a favourite.

Congrats on passing the test!

I usually stick with D207's, they're not too expensive for sports tyres (£65 front and £75 rear) and grip very well. The SV came with bt014's on, maybe it's just me but I didn't feel as confident with them.

I've got Avon Azaro tyres on mine. To me they're ace but everyone has they're personal favourite. I ride all year round Even in ice and snow to work and they haven't slipped yet. They are better than bridgestones for me

Mossy

Don't forget to raise the fork legs through the clamps by the same amount to maintain the geometry and steering response.

I used Avon Viper Sport's on the 6 1/2 to good effect, but I'm now on Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's on the thou.
Try http://www.tst-tyres.co.uk/index.htm for your tyres.
