Picked her up today...
and WOW - what fun
plenty of this: a bit of this: and some pedestrians like this: when they see my grin can't wait for tomorrow now by the way does anyone have instructions for changing the side and head lights on the pointy model - would be useful to have as i've got the bulbs but not yet got the haynes manual |

Re: Picked her up today...
good stuff headlights - no fairing to remove. Just yank the dust/water covers off, then theres a metal clip holding them in. Really simple.
Sidelights can be accessed through the fairing, theres one screw holding a palm sized bit of black plastic, just unscrew that- and obvious. why are you changing the sidelights? |

Re: Picked her up today...
ok, headlamps replaced, christ the phillips +80% ones are bright and very white - the blue sidelights don't really get a look in but they look quite bling
thought i'd fried the electrics when i stuck the ignition on and it said "CHEC" - that'll be because it's in gear and has the stand down - duh |

Re: Picked her up today...
Been there done that and got the T-Shirt but I went one further and called the bike shop thinking the alarm was faulty and spoke to tech support as well. Then went to move the bike and found it in gear.

Re: Picked her up today...
i'll let you know tomorrow
it's 77 miles around the coast, but the state of 90% of the roads means you won't be going that fast anyway
