Default Anyone had any problems with these guys?

www.fastbikebits.com

Placed 2 seperate orders with them. One has been over 3 weeks and the other 2 weeks. They have taken my money, ignored my e-mails and failed to deliver.
Great site bit the fast bit I take it has nothing to do with their service. RUBBISH!!!

Not tried them. I guess the name refers to bits FOR fast bikes rather than their delivery service then! Hope you get it sorted mate, I guess you've tried phoning them?

My dad ordered a replacement Renthal chain and sprocket kit from them. He paid for next day delivery and was assured they would arrive next day.

They took 5 days excluding weekends, he's a patient man, so when he rang them to ask where it was they said: "Oh we were going to ring you, cos we've only got your address details and no order information etc."

He placed the order over the phone to the same guy! They were quite happy to take his money from his account though!

Sorry to dredge up an old thread but there's something worth taking into account about this bunch of chancers if anyone does order.

We waited ages to get the leathers mentioned above then had to send them back. I called them at the time for a 'returns reference number' (as mentioned in their T&C's) and a returns address.
All seemed fine, the guy actually remembered my order off the top of his head. That did seem a bit funny, they cant be very busy i thought to myself.

Well, finally this week we have a refund! Some SEVEN weeks after they got the goods back. I think it's about ten weeks since they took the money off the card, would have to check that.....

There was one little problem of course. Why doesn't that surprise me.

Order was for £200 of leathers. Refunded only £150. Called them up to create merry hell about the short-comings. Apparently they mention in the small print that they charge you 25% (and sometimes 30%) for returns, in this case £50.

Reason being, they dont actually have a warehouse to hold goods, they take your order and source it as and when it's needed. So, if you then return any goods it's a hassle for them, so they penalise the buyer....
"Gee, thanks. I feel so appreciated as a customer"

My advice is steer clear of them - but it's up to yourselves whether you take heed or not.

I certainly won't be using them again. The amount of bike shops out there one can quite easily go else where.
Sorry to hear about your bad dealings at least I wasn't the only one messed about.

Yeah, precicely my feelings too mate, eShopping can be good or bad.

Check this out!
I put an online order in for a steering rack tie-rod for my car at camskill.co.uk. The bit from Mitzi UK costs £67, but camskill have it on their website @ £36 + £13 postage to my area. Quids in i thought!

They called me up this morning and said we'll send it for £4 thru Royal Mail for ya.

That's good service!!!!!!!
