Well what do you do ? faced with only a couple of months more riding then a couple of months in a cast and 4 more non-weight bearing, so a minimum of 6 month before you can even start the job of getting back any bend to the crash site which used to be my knee?
Buy another bike of course, isn't that what everyone does in this situation ![]() Anyway, I took one out for a test ride back in 98 when they first came out and loved it but was on a power rush with my speed triples, so didn't really go that way, but tried sitting on one Thursday so bought one yesterday (cracking deal to), the CB will have to go, shame really as it's been a good old workhorse, but can't really justify anymore bikes around (this'll make 9 in total if I kept the CB). So here it is, a pampered original 98 Hinkley Thunderbird sport ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (and before you ask, no I don't know who's the SV is, but I will find out when I collect next week) Cheers Mark.

Shiney bike Mark well done, looks better than the CB but shame you have to get rid of somthing that's stood you in good stead, waiting all these years for you. It had it's chance to shine and now your casting it aside. |
