Default k5 hugger

just bought a k5 hugger for my k5 bike (no flys on me i know )

took the chane guard off unbolted the thing that holds the brake pipe for the back wheel.

now i have a bracket for the brake pipe side to hold the hugger on , but it looks kinda close to the tyre for my liking is this right... it fits nice when its all bolted on, but still feels close to the tyre..

any one fitted one of these before

My dad's got one on his BMW bike and the hugger is very close (about 1/4 inch) from the wheel. Sounds pretty normal. Easiest thing to do is take yourself to a bike dealer and have a quick look in the shop or at bikes with huggers outside.

Saves on embarassing obvious questions. That's what i'd do. Also check out your front fender and see how close that is in relation to the rear.
