Went to the isle of man on saturday, spent a few days blasting round the southern 100 and the TT without incident, great fun...
Got the ferry back, through lots of scouser traffic, over the M62 to Halifax, came down the off ramp and slid the front end out on a cattle grid. ![]() Luckily had full leathers on armored up to the max so I'm completely uninjured. Unluckily I now need a set of handlebars, a radiator, both brake levers, indicators, mirrors and probably some other bits! Chris P.s always wear yer ferkin leathers! (pics to follow for you all to laugh at)

Aye, damage not too serious but at £125 and counting! Eeeep!
Need to find a front plate for an oval can to save money on getting mine mended! (going to make a stubby one if I can find the part...)

Nice to hear you're okay, it's a good feeling to stand up afterwards and realise that all that armour and leather really does work.
Hope you get it back on the road soon. |

There's some pictures on there of the damage to bike and kit, my knee would have done far worse without the leathers even if they only show a few small scratches and rubs. Chris
