Locked Mobiles And Accidents - SV650.org

Just a plea really. If you carry a mobile while riding, could you please not lock it with a pin no. It makes it impossible for people to get your ICE numbers when you have an off and are unconscious.

I'm mentioning this as it happened tonight. One of our club members crashed on her way home from our meet and was taken away to hospital still unconscious. Nobody could get into her phone to contact her family.

Thanks for the tip, I keep an ICE on my mobile. although I haven't actually told my sis she's the ICE.

Something else others can also do. I keep the ICE number and name on a bit of paper in my wallet which is visible when it is opened as well, in case my phone breaks or runs out of power.

Think my ice should be the local kebab place....if I died they'd go out of business. They should know to prepare! ;o)

I NEVER go out without some kind of ID and NOK contact numbers. I'm so paranoid about not being identified in an accident and my family not being aware.

I always lock my phone, but it's not locked with a PIN.
