Default Polishing my can......

I'm planning a major clean for the SV at some point in the next couple of weeks. At the moment the can is looking a bit crappy so it could do with a polish. The can is an aluminium alloy Remus Revolution - any reccomendations on what to use to clean it?

Cheers

Dave

Autogly metal polish is normally good. Although I tried it on my front downpipe this weekend and it didnt come up as well as I would have wanted. But then I didnt spend alot of time doing it.

Don't talk about polishing the can - Mine just got a carrier bag wrapped round it good and proper .

I normally keep mine looking nice using Comma Alloy Cleaner to get most of the cack off then use Autosol (sightly abrasive) to get it really shiny. Works a treat even from the front pipe to the standard zorst, not sure about an expensive one though.

I tried a bit of Autosol at the bottom as a test and it didn't really make much difference - hence why I wondered if there was anything good for the aluminium.

I just give mine a wipe over with a rag sprayed with WD40 comes up nice and shiney then.
