Default Removing Decals?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a safe way to remove the SV650 standard decals on the tailpiece? I need to get them off so i get a different colour set.
Someone suggested using a heat gun and then peeling off....does this work or is there a better way???

Many Thanks!

Hair dryer and a lot of pacience. also to clean the sticky stuff off afetr mr muscle wood polisher. its what they use in shoe shops for getting the lables off the bottom of the shoes (so i am told)

Where are you getting your new decals from. i need a new set as my curvy was dropped and had panel damage.

you'll probably need a respray if you take them off i suppose you could very carefully take the lacquer off with some nitromos then carefully peel the sticker off the add the new one and re lacquer
