Cheers, just had a look at Tiscali but you need a phone line.. Not connected to anyone yet as we move in next friday! Suppose that you need to pay £10 or so a month on top..

I'm with talk talk. It has had a horrendous press but my dad has it and i worked out a lot of the problems were with the rubbish free modem they give you. I set my router up for it and it works like a charm.
It costs £6 a month plus £10 a month for line rental so thats £16 all in. You get unlimited free anytime international calls and free evening and weekend uk calls. Also 8 meg broadband with a 40 gig cap. Fairly good all in, I was with zen previously they were £25 a month + £10 line rental. |

I'd vote fot BT also!
I think we've had BT/Yahoo Broadband for roughly five years now. In all that time we've only had "two" ocassions (that I can remember) when there has been down-time, which is bloody good in my oppinion! About a year-ish ago we were due to be upgraded (for free) to 8mb but our line wouldn't fully support it so we stuck at 1mb, which is still great for surfing and games etc. Like I said we stuck at 1mb, BT gave us an extra free 20Gb download/upload cap on top of our original 30Gb, now giving us a 50GB cap a month, which was nice! We have three computers sharing the same connection and not once, ever have we reached that cap (even the original 30Gb one) even though i'm an avid downloader/gamer etc. Top service in my oppinion! ![]() *Edit* Ah, missed that bit lol Last edited by Brian; 22-09-07 at 03:17 PM. |
