Well not quite but that is obviously the aim

I am pleased to report that I have now bought my first bonafide piece of Motocycling garb ...... gloves (well you have to start somewhere)

I am borrowing a Helmet and some Nitro leathers though i may need to have a bit of a rethink on the leathers front

#1 its borrowed so it doesn't fit all that well,

2# the colour are a bit ...... well..... noticeable ...... lets just say that if i were in an Ecuadorian Rain Forest, and if i sat really still, i could be mistaken for a Poisonous Tree frog as this is pretty much the colour scheme LOL

Boots are the only piece of kit that remains outstanding at the moment and once i have those - DA here we come - 3rd Week of October if my nice Boss-man will approve my leave

So am on the way ........

A full set of bike gear is expensive, get what you can but remember this is what's between you and the tarmac when it goes wrong. Try to get the best you can, base level lids from good companys like HJC are pretty cheap. Full face is good.

Hes loaded. He'll end up with a full set of Alpinestars or Dainese and a top of the range Shoei or Arai.

Unless I get to him first!! A visit to J&S in New Malden may well be in order.

Indeed - i need to keep it sensible are you free this weekend Paul to take us up there and have sniff around - i have a car again so may well need that to transport back any items bought

J&S in New Malden.....Nostalgia....If I hadn't gone there for the 1st time in about 8 yrs last week.

I hate that J&S, didnt get any help when buying a jacket, and didnt get much kindness when I handed my money over

I do like infinity motorcycles in the direction of twickenham though, they are always helpfull
